Rainbow

When war was over
I held my tears close,
Started walking backwards
on the tip of my toes.
Painted everything black
went back to the shell,
I thought light left
through my every cell.
When courage broke
I cried a sea,
first time,witnessed a world
that was alive within me.
Then I realized,
regardless of all the highs and low,
I can’t lose colours,
I’m the rainbow.

#blueforsudan

What colour of skin, do death and sufferings acknowledge?
Don’t look at me now, pretending, you had no knowledge.

Raping my child, breaking my womb,
I am forced to wear a viel of gloom.

The red of my blood is shadowed by, red quenching the city,
All the colours are gone, that once made my people pretty.

They humiliated my heart with every possible force,
I know universe loved us, when Nile refused to engulf corpse.

You said you are safe, and I always wonder,
Maybe you’ll know, when your own doors receive this thunder.

Poetry on my skin.

Proud on
shallow connections,
You thrive to earn,
All this fake affection,
Can’t be a good turn.

You ask me to fly,
But I don’t want wings,
My aim is already high,
I don’t need your things.

Your energy
revolves around the greed,
My strength
floats within trees.
Stop suggesting me to read,
I don’t want your aura,
please.

You want me to dive in sea,
I don’t care
about virtue or sin.
Oh dear!
You can’t tame me,
It’s poetry,
written on my skin.

Brown world

Those deep brown eyes
Held my gaze,
He spoke to me
In million different ways.

I have loved blue
But brown felt more appealing,
Galaxies within him
Filled me with feelings.

Those twinkling eyes
Made me freeze,
His scent was floating
In the cold breeze.

A brown world
Took over my senses,
With his eyes
He took away my oceans.

Forbidden

Alice and the rabbit hole,
You’re making me feel whole.
Sleeping beauty and spindle,
I’m drowning in your dimple.

Aladdin and the lamp,
You’re my heart’s stamp.
Elsa and her magic,
World can be better, just imagine.

Me and you,
I want this to be true.

I know,
There are consequences
of loving forbidden things,
But you’re the only one
who can bring back spring.

Hailstorm

Wolves are hollowing at the peak,
Birds going total freak.
Is this reality or a dream?
I can sense some subtle screams.

Intense, destructive and cold breeze,
Is this city on the verge to freeze?
I may sound off, i may sound mad,
But this clime is, really bad.

In a blink of eye,
Earth started to cry,
Increasing it’s load,
Sky started to explode.

I am forced to run as the rain begun,
Hail stones are no more fun.
Its hard to breathe under such intense shower,
Nature never fails to prove its power!

Whole place is covered in white pebbles,
Weather really is, on another level.
I never wanted to witness hailstorm,
Maybe its safe inside the dorm.

Pain is pain

Every time you’re hurt,
You keep coming,
Your heart,
is a heart,
Others have machines,
just running.

I’m sick of these guess games,
Haven’t you got any other to blame?
Please, stop these claims,
Your agony is a result of,
your own flames.

Kept pushing me,
Whenever I offered help.
Now, when you are drowning in sea,
You choose to Yelp?

I too, have a soul,
But you kept digging hole,
Stop roaming around,
comparing loss or gain.
Regardless of intensity,
pain is pain.

Death’s poem

You shall see me,

Where these horizons meet.

Stay here, quite,

Please, have a seat.

To end your sufferings,

I have come a long way.

I promise to take your pain

Sorrows and all desires away.

You have served the sphere,

During these days.

You still are unaware,

Of world’s greatest ways.

Don’t strain, come,

Accept these vacations.

Oh, mortal!

I, indeed, am the final destination.

_ Death.

Mermaid’s Tale

I met this guy on the shore,
He was cool, funny
and something more.
Bright ocean blue eyes
and a strong jawline,
With a height, almost fine.

Golden hair, perfect lips,
He was roaming
around the ships.
Due to shore’s haze
My whole body shuddered
under his gaze.

He motioned towards me
and opened his arms,
For the first time,
I really felt protected,
safe and warm.

He stayed for few days
and I was all his,
Ocean was warning me,
through the fizz.

I started to believe in love
He gifted me a pair of dove.
He believed in dreams,
so I gave him a dream catcher,
Was not aware,
he was a snatcher.

During one night,
we were sitting on the rock,
This time,
Instead of me he was staring at the clock.
I knew a mermaid
was not allowed to fall
But this love
really was moon’s call.

Ripping ocean’s lap,
He left with his ship,
And I still miss him
with every flip.

Roads

I looked at him
while crying,
I knew
there was no use of trying.
You left and moved
towards the wood,
And I stood there,
like you said I should.
Every path I take is black,
I wonder if you ever
going to come back?
Whenever these roads
try to threaten me,
I wish upon him,
but never came he.
I know you closed every door
which led you my way,
Damn!
I still keep my hopes high
for another day.
